A thrilling ride, this flight simulator style ride takes you on what was supposed to be a tour of the Endor Moons. Ah, but our captain is a rookie, and you know rookies can make mistakes sometimes.

This used to be the most thrilling ride in the MGM Studios. It's now been eclipsed by the two down on Sunset Blvd. Therefore, the lines are often allot shorter. There is allot of jostling around, so I wouldn't suggest this for anyone that has any medical problems.

Notice Rex still has a sticker on him that says "Remove before flight", just a little proof that this is still his first flight.

There's also a reference to Mr. Tom Morrow (Tomorrow) for Tomorrow Land, where this attraction first sat in Disneyland. Mr. Tom Morrow was first mentioned in the Mission to Mars attraction.

In the waiting queue you'll hear an announcement for the owner of a star speeder with the license plate THX 1138 to move their vehicle, which is a tribute to George Lucas' first film, and that code can often be found in his movies

This attraction opened in 1989

Paul Reubens (Pee Wee of Pee Wee's Playhouse) voices Rex

Many of the people in the safety video are Imagineers and their families.

The alien animatronics up above you in the ride queue actually have legs, even though you don't see them.

Prior to boarding, an announcement is made for "Mr. Egroeg Sacul"… That's George Lucas (Creator of Star Wars) backwards.
