Come and join us for another installment of the WDW-Memories podcast, where I try to make it possible for you relive your Walt Disney World Memories when you can't actually be there. We'll continue our Day in Epcot series, picking up as we left the France Pavilion and made our way around the esplanade. Now we'll end up stumbling upon a set by the greatest Canadian Rock band, Off Kilter. It's the last time I'll see these guys live, and they don't disappoint.

The beach is back on. I was telling you all a couple of weeks ago that there was a chance I might be doing something else Disney related instead, well it almost worked out that we were going to be heading to Hawaii and spending a few days at Aulani. That would have been awesome I think, but after just spending a week in Walt Disney World earlier this year, it just wasn't working out for us to take on another big vacation, plus the kids are not quite to that point where 12 hours in an airplane won't drive them (and us) crazy. So instead we're heading back to Florida for some sun and sand out in Clearwater. I am so looking forward to it already, even if we won't be taking time and running over to Walt Disney World while we're down there. In the meantime, let's continue our Day in Epcot as it's winding to a close.

For those just joining us, we’re spending what was a rainy day in Epcot in early March of 2014. It’s Flower and Garden Festival, but the crowds are light (a 3/10 on TouringPlans.com), and the rain from the morning has given way to a beautiful evening. In Memory 145 we caught a showing of Impressions de France, and then continued our way around the World Showcase Promenade. We've made it to the UK and are being drawn in by the sounds of an Off Kilter concert going on one Pavilion over. After a quick bathroom break, we'll round everyone up and continue on to catch a couple of songs left in their set before making our way to the back of the Canada Pavilion to catch a show of O Canada!

So originally I was mistaken. I thought this was the British Invasion, which hasn't won me over yet (but might be able to now that I can no longer see Off Kilter). I am so glad that I caught these guys. Not knowing at the time that they be leaving Epcot for bigger things in 6 months, it was great to hear them once again. Their set tonight was a little different than the usual I heard, but still a great group full of talent. I have seen the new Lumberjack show, and these guys can't hold a candle to Off Kilter. I will admit though, I did see Off Kilter a couple of times and it looked like they were just there, not really enjoying it anymore, so maybe new blood is a good thing, but I just wish we had gotten another show of equal energy. Maybe over time, the Canadian Lumberjacks will get their rhythm and create that excellent show, but when I saw them earlier this year, they weren't there yet.

Today’s memory is in binaural, so I’d suggest putting those headphones on to fully immerse yourself in the memory.

Now sit back. Relax. Close your eyes. And come with me as we rock out with our favorite Celtic Rock Band.
